The FIRST Commandment- THOU SHALT HAVE LOW TAX RATES

When I sign this bill into law, America will have the lowest marginal tax rates and the most modern tax code among major industrialized nations, one that encourages risk-taking, innovation, and that old American spirit of enterprise. We'll be refueling the American growth economy with the kind of incentives that helped create record new businesses and nearly 11.7 million jobs in just 46 months.

NOTE From Regan 2: Reagan understood that when the PEOPLE are FREE to run their own lives they can do almost ANYTHING on their own with little need for "government." Reagan's vision of LOW TAX rates was not merely a desire to NOT have taxes, it was a basic principle- the more the People control their own money the better it is for everybody.
